Skyport Tycoon

Skyport Tycoon drops you in charge of a run-down airfield and leaves you to turn it into something that works. You build runways, hire staff, route traffic, and watch your little hub grow. It scratches the same itch as a good spreadsheet, but with cheerful animations.

The loop is weirdly addictive. There's always one more upgrade a few minutes away, and the game is smart about not punishing you for stepping away. I came back to a tidy profit more than once after forgetting it was running.

Controls are drag-and-tap, with pinch-to-zoom that works smoothly even on a crowded map. The tutorial is a touch long, but once you're through it the game opens right up. My only wish is for a few more building types late on.
